Initially the trail appears relatively well worn and passes through open woodland. Then turning left off the worn trail it climbs up over blueberry undergrowth to skirt the side of a bedrock plateau. The trail then swings left again to head down across blueberry undergrowth and loamy open terrain to exit via the ditch running alongside the gravel road.
