Very little vertical, following the river valley, mostly single track dirt trail, but the middle part of this briefly follows a gravel service road. This connects the parking lot and picnic tables at the east entrance of Bowmont park to the west end of Sideshow Bob. This would be a good way for less experienced riders to bypass the highest elevation parts on the east end of Sideshow Bob or those riders who might be intimidated by the height of the Sideshow Bob trail east segment. The narrowest singletrack portions in the valley have high grasses in peak season (August) so your hands and knees are going to be gettting whipped by the weeds, deal with it, you'll be fine.
Parking in the parking lot at the east end of this trail.
