This non-motorized trail connects Lake Mountain with the Lake Creek Road 028. This was the old trail to the now removed Lake Mountain Lookout. The trail is steep and very rocky in places. It is an experts only trail. There are a lot of dead trees along the trail so there may be deadfall across the trail. Portions of the trail go through the Lake Mountain Fire of 1985. Portions of the trail follow the old wire phone line location. Look for the poles.

Access Info

Access to the west (upper) end of the trail are via the Lake Mountain Electronic Site Road. Access to the lower end is via the Lake Creek Road 028. There is no signage and trail is not well marked.
