Lauburu es un símbolo pagano, el cual representa a un sol en movimiento, poseedor del poder contra la influencia del mal. Las cabezas verticales representan la expresión femenina (relacionada con las emociones y la percepción), o los elementos de fuego y agua. Por otro lado, las cabezas horizontales son símbolos de la energía masculina (mental y física), o del aire y la Tierra.

El sendero comienza en las bordas del barrio Egozkue en Beruete (Basaburua), bajo las antenas. El comienzo viene siendo la parte más técnica del sendero, con una corta trialera empinada, que en condiciones húmedas, se pone complicada.

Después, ciclaremos por un sendero que ladea el monte Iturrondo por hayedos y robledales, rápido a veces y duro otras, ya que habrá que pedalear fuerte para superar un par de repechos con los que nos encontraremos.

Abandonamos esta ladera para entrar en una zona divertida de curvas, muy disfrutona y de mover la bici de lado a lado, por un precioso y variado bosque, hasta cruzar un pequeño riachuelo que en verano se seca.

De nuevo, tramo de subida intenso para adentrarnos en la parte final, con menor inclinación pero muy divertido, una especie de pumptrack en el bosque, en el que tendremos que buscar bien todas las inercias para ganar velocidad.

Sendero muy variado, divertido y físico, que nos dejará cerca del pueblo de Jauntsarats (Basaburua).
