Recreational opportunities available to the public include hiking, picnicking, photography, bird watching, geocaching, jogging, biking, horseback riding (trailer your own horse), walking your dog on a leash, bow hunting, cross country skiing, snow shoeing, and trout fishing.
There are no alcoholic beverages allowed within the forest.
Horseback Riding: Lemmien Loop ONLY - May 1st through October 1st. Parking for trailers is limited and not guaranteed. If service gate is closed, please use main parking lot if space is available. Please clean up after your horse in improved areas such as parking lot, covered bridge, etc.
