Bikes are only allowed up to high point on East section. Riders caught West of NO BIKES SIGN will be flogged and publicly disgraced on social media (JK). But seriously, riding West of the sign will create issues amongst user groups and the Parks department. Trail is heavily travelled by foot, especially during the Spring Lilly bloom. Bikers use extreme caution and watch speeds. It's recommended to take Tiki as an alternative.
