Link Trail winds its way up the hill of Whareroa Farm to Campbell Mill Road and the top of Red Tape. From the top here you can continue up to the Akatarawa Forest, or loop back around to the carpark via Red Tape.

       The stream where the old bridge was at the bottom is ever expanding. Otherwise the track is holding up well and not showing much damage from storms during summer. The first stream crossing has been dug out to improve access.
