Riding in the Devon River Valley is wonderful, but in the end, that which comes down, must go up again. Lionhearted is a paved path that runs parallel to Saskatchewan Ave East (AKA Lion's Campground Hill). It crosses the road in two spots and depending on your direction, is more or less 100% uphill or downhill. As a paved path, this trail is rated as "Easiest," but that doesn't mean it's not tiring and a great way to build your leg muscles.

At the top of the hill, this path connects with Vander Veen trail. At the bottom, it meets up with Devon Golf Course Trail.
