Loop B starts with a satisfying descent and features several more to appease your appetite. Slow and gentle or fast and rowdy, just keep your eyes forward--roots, root drops, rocks, and wheel-catching sand abound. There are a few wooden bridges spanning the outflow from the park lake, as well. Bear in mind, all that downhill comes at a price. Sure, there are some short climbs scattered throughout Loop B, but it's the last portion that features THE long climb. Pace yourself. If you ride Loops C and D (which offer some tasty uphills WITH switchbacks), you may regret such a full belly.
First timers: When you reach the old park road, head left down the black top and look to rejoin the trail on your right. It's not far and easy to miss if you enjoy the slight descent too much.
After the long climb, Loop B comes to a sandy double wide trail. Pedal left and you'll see the EZ Loop/A Loop trailhead straight ahead; pedal right and you'll be back at the start of Loop B.
Please note: Mountain bikers ALWAYS ride clockwise as shown on the map. Hikers ALWAYS ride counter clockwise per park rules!
