The original Lorden Path Connected the Bicentennial Trail to the Arnold Trail. It is an old hiking trail/skidder road, and does not ride well uphill. It is a fun downhill trail, allowing for a nice clockwise loop around Cricket Hill. For a super long downhill, start at the height of land. In 2018 it was extended to the height of land and added a loop on the "Lorden 2" property in Betty Arnold Forest. Built by riders, this section rides well in both directions, and the top end allows for a connection to Mack Hill Road or the Hemlock Trail via a double track on private land. The Lorden Path itself is entirely within the public lands of Betty Arnold Forest.
