This is one of the original trails in Whipple Creek Park, dating back to the times when it served as the main access path to the creek and gazebo below. It has been rerouted several times since to ensure better sustainability.

Lovebug is named after a black lab that used the trail more than any other animal to come to the park. If you are an older user of the park, you would have met Lovebug many times on the trails, and at the work parties. Such a good pup.
