Steep, rocky and loose. Redemption is a double black downhill trail in Schweitzer Mountain Resort's lift access trail system. There are plenty of drops on this trail but they all have a ride around but be cautious because the ride arounds are steep and loose as well.

Lower Redemption is accessed off of the road portion of Pinch Flat. From Pinch Flat and Upper Redemption, follow the road down a ways and Lower Redemption is on the left.

The rock and wood roll are worthy of a double d but the trail is a little lacking for its length.

This is the most fun trail on the mt for sure. It's steep and techy and fantastic. There's not much else like it on this hill. The other black trails should be rated blue, they are smooth and basically featureless, worthwhile mostly just for their beautiful scenery. But not much in the way of thrills. But this trail holds its own, no doubt. Lots of fun if you like picking your way down steep & sketchy tech.
