This lower section is mostly washed out and steep from dirt bikes riding in mud. Not great, but the switch backs in the upper section are great.

For winter riding the lower section where it intersects with Mud Springs is often packed down from snowshoes.

The lower section has spring water running through a pretty deep moto track that motos keep riding. It doesn't last for very long going up it.
