The Miller Divide trail is above Miller Creek, and starts a few miles north of Holloman Saddle.

Likely has not been cleared since 2017, it's recommended to bypass the last section and take the moto track down to the road.

Access Info

The start of the trail can be found by either going north from Holloman saddle, or by heading up Plant creek past Miller Mountain. A gps track to follow is highly recommended as there are many junctions and old logging roads in the area.

The Miller Divide trail had existed on USFS maps for years, though it seemed (in the early 2000s) to be little-used, in disrepair and, in numerous spots, difficult to locate. A few of us spent several years finding, marking, clearing (and test riding!) the trail. During that time we experienced a few setbacks, as several different clear-cutting projects left segments of the trail in utter disarray. Lots of hard work and love resurrected the trail, and restored it to its current, usable state. For many years, the trail served as the backbone of the annual Miller Divide Solstice Ride. It was a gift to the Missoula community -- enjoy!
