Hike up the old Forbidden Plateau Ski area. Starts as a bit of a grind with almost immediate reward to turn around and see the valley below you. The sustained climb does not last long and you find yourself in Strathcona Park. Continue up the mountain and you will end the hike with a spectacular view of the Comox Glacier.

Decent coverage all the way. Good skin track. Varied conditions near the top and lots of undergrowth in the last runs to the parking lot. Good times!
