Packed dirt single track with mellow climbs, descents, corners, and small sections of cobble. The loop is perfect for families new to mountain biking or laps in the beautiful woods.
It is also the entrance to Catamount Trail.
Access the Newt Loop about 100 yards down the 214 Trail from the parking lot. The west side will deliver you to the beginning of the Catamount Trail. State Park may enforce parking fee ($5/day or $30/yr).
