US Forest Service road NF74. This is a gated paved road, but it's in very bad condition including multiple major washouts that require dismounting on food to circumnavigate. Road follows the river and is vehicle-free. Watch for obstacles including downed trees and steep dropoff into the river.
This road used to continue across the West Fork of the White River on a bridge to access the Clearwater Wilderness area, but the bridge was destroyed in the major floods of 2006 and its remains were finally removed in 2021.
