Nor'easter is located in the northeast section of the park and starts off rather calm but like the storm it's named for your quickly riding over waves of dirt as you surf the contours. There are some fun and flowy sections and a nice extended downhill that has some of the longest berms on Long Island. You will ride alongside a derelict concrete wall that is a remnant of the sand mining operation and in the winter there is a vernal pond nearby. Eventually you will pass a mining era trolly wheel then brace yourself for a long climb back to the trailhead.
Ride at your own risk. Hidden hazards may exist!
