La via ferrata "Oliva Detassis" è la più esposta e impegnativa delle Dolomiti di Brenta. Si svolge sulle verticali e anguste pareti occidentali dello Spallone dei Massodi nell'Alto Vallone dei Brentèi. Venne realizzata fra il 1966 e 1968 dai fratelli "Bruno", "Catullo" e "Giordano Detassis" dedicata alla loro madre. Il sentiero di accesso alla via ferrata si stacca dall'itinerario 323 poco a valle della base dei torrioni dei Gemelli, a soli 15 minuti dal Rifugio "Angelo Alimonta"; percorre una larga cengia che aggira da N i Gemelli e in leggera salita, fra i massi e rocce lisciate dall'esarazione glaciale della Vedretta dei Brentèi - che fino a metà del ‘900 occupava l'intero Vallone dei Brentèi - conduce nel selvaggio circo glaciale dell'alto Vallone dei Brentèi, attorniato da alte e severe pareti. Su traccia si rimonta versa dx la pietraia del franoso conoide formatosi alla base dello stretto canalone che scende profondamente incassato dalla Bocchetta Bassa dei Massodi e, giunti ai piedi dello zoccolo roccioso sottostante lo spigolo NO dello Spallone dei Massodi, si incontrano le prime attrezzature. Indossato l'apposito equipaggiamento di autoassicurazione, si procede con attenzione in un susseguirsi di funi, staffe e soprattutto scale, la più alta delle quali (16 metri) venne dedicata a "Bepi Loss", forte alpinista trentino deceduto sulle Ande Peruviane nel 1970. La verticalità del percorso e la severità dell'ambiente incutono timore. Dopo uno sviluppo di circa 200 metri, si arriva su uno stretto ripiano, al bivio con la Via delle Bocchette. Per questa, proseguendo verso dx, lungo un'esile cengia orizzontale si arriva in breve alla Bocchetta Bassa dei Massodi.
