Flat for a good bit after the El Nogal split before chunky 4x4 track ensues (assuming rider is descending). Just as chunky as El Nogal in spots--4x4 track chunky that is. Plenty of jumps/whoop-dee-doos/water diverters in the second half might cause one to forgive the previous flat section. Is it worth the extra 3+ miles to skip the El Nogal decent? Don't know--how tired are you?

Rocky and loose jeep trail for most of it. Tough climb but gets you to SB

All north facing aspects have snow up high, it barely goes with a mile of hike a biking
