Outback is surprisingly long, and packs a lot of bedrock into its twisty length. Challenges all tend to be short and walkable, but there are a LOT of them. There are lots of rooty and rocky bits, and this mixed with some off-camber bedrock means you'll want to do this trail dry to enjoy it. Short, difficult climbs alternate with countless rampy drops, connected by flowy sections and bridge/ladders. Expect to be very tired if riding at your limit, and be careful! There are a couple of confusing sections: one at Bonk Point, where the trail will look like it goes straight, but actually hairpins, and another near the junctions with Cannonball and Ridgetop, where there are several choices, all good but varying in difficulty.

Around what time of spring does this trail usually become rideable again
