This is primarily a hiking trail, there is a parking area at the bottom. Too steep to ride up for most, too fast and boring a descent - you won't find many bikers here.

This is a mellow doubletrack route before switching to singletrack at the second Cedar Lake Loop intersection. The trail continues with a tricky creek crossing and a rooted cascade to the shore of Pine Lake. There is a narrow plank boardwalk along the water's edge.

Neither Cedar Lake nor Pine Lake provide grand vistas, but each lake is pleasantly tranquil.

Hiking primary. Did see an e-mtb with full face which didn't really make sense for the area.

In great shape. However, this is mostly a hiking trail, not an MTB trail

Too steep to be green up or down. The rating makes no sense

Too steep and crowded with hikers. No fun pushing a bike up, no fun riding down.

Going straight up the wide lower trail is steep and unpleasant as a climb and not much fun coming down. Lots of hikers too
