The Park property is longer than it is wide. Our loop starts right at the first tee box for the Frisbee golf course. Start by parking in the lot near the barn and ride down to a wooden bridge crossing a stream. Once over the stream, go to the left.

At the picnic table, you'll see a blue arrow in a tree. This is the start of the singletrack. The trail runs back and forth up the grade of the hill. At the top, you'll find another picnic table. This is a good spot to regroup and catch a breather. The climb needs a little more work, its not easy in some spots.

From the picnic table, go about 15 yards straight then look for the trail to your right. More signs are coming in the future. Follow the blue marks through to the next clearing. Here, you'll ride straight out and be looking to your left for re-entry to the woods.

The trail and transitions from here are pretty easy to follow. We have some really fun sections with more trail to come. For now, once you reach the end of the completed trail, take the perimeter fire road up the hill to your right and there are multiple routes to get back down to the bottom. We are working to solidify the descent and get it marked. Any questions can be directed to THUMB MTB Club. Find us on Facebook.

Nice place to ride. Good place for most everyone easy enough for new and young yet just enough challenge and flow for the more experienced. It reminded me of a cross country short corse track. Had jusT enough ups and downs for this over weight 45+ rider. I did a lap each direction and it was around 6.5-7 miles with abut 700 feet of elevation. I did take the shorter steep push up hill before starting the second lap. I figured I would have to push up a good bit of the nice tech down hill anyways so it was just faster to take the short cut. I wouldn’t suggest going during or shortly after a good rain. It is hard pack clay is topsoil. I was there in late November a few days after rain and I really had to be careful in some of the turns and I still had a couple two wheel drift turns that kept it exciting.

Not a bad trail but in need of trail maintenance. Many limbs/trees down across trail, most of which an average rider can ride over. But at least 2-3 where dismount is necessary and pulling/moving brush is required. There's also quite a bit of overgrown foliage over the trail throughout most of it, many of which are briars and snag you on the way through. Other than being in need of maintenance it's a decent trail with some rocks and roots but nothing overly technical. It is very twisty and didn't have many places where you can open it up and get some speed. Good place to work on bike handling.
