It’s short but fun. I would categorize it as a good trail for a beginner who is ready to consider him or herself an intermediate. It has good flow, fun rock features, and lots of little well-crafted climbs that keep it interesting. For an advanced rider looking for a quick after-work or rest day ride, it’s just right. Do the loop both ways to get about 8 miles and 600’ of climbing.

This is a great trail loop - but I wouldn’t say this is good for beginners. The trail has some small rock step ups and drops, tight turns, plus some tricky rocky sections that would make a beginner nervous. They can all be walked and are easily seen. Adventurous beginners could do just fine, but this ride is neither flat nor smooth.

That said, this is a really fun ride for intermediate riders. Great views, fun trail features and a quick ride. Will definitely ride again.

this is not a green trail. This is more difficult overall than secret sauce, even if it is shorter. If you ride this expecting it to be, you will be hiking your bike in parts. Climbs, some with pretty good rocky features. Great overlooking views.
