Global Ranking#3910 in Mountain Biking
Radical Dragon starts in the woods with a fun, flowy section of mild elevation drop and some smallish jumps. The trail then begins to descend more steeply and features some narrower, technical, rooty, droppy sections which are quite fun if you are into that sort of thing. Partway down the trail is a fairly large/steep optional rock roll - the highlight of the trail to many riders who come here especially to test their nerve on that feature. See photos. Overall lots of fun for the thrill seeker. On the upper end of difficulty for a trail that has been rated "blue" - many riders contest that it should be black.

I was a huge fan - far and away my favorite lower trail on the south side. Flowy and natural top section gives way to a sustained, steeper and totally sick middle (with the famed rock roll - this is where many folks are getting scared off) and a couple badass booters take you to the bottom. No mandatory tech and I think blue is a fair call. If you like it steep and spicy, go tear this up and forget about A Dog

The complaints to this trail have me wondering how many should stick to out-and-backs on Dog Patch. #modulate #learnthebasics #notblack

Agreed it should be rated black, unless you want more unsuspecting people like me dangerously walking down those skinny, steep jumps and drops

If you ride black trails this ones for you, has a couple cool jumps and then has an optional rock roll. LOVED IT

Nuff debate over the rating, can’t we all agree this trail’s dope? Short but packed with lil doubles, berms, a couple gaps, brief moments of loose steep, tight flora and the boulder. Red hot blues with medium salsa babyee!

Definitely Black Diamond on the lower section, it's steep leading up to the massive rock roll... If massive rock rolls aren't your thing the ride arounds are manageable (although steep). Worth checking out at least once

If Atomic Dog is a blue then this trail is a black. It's noticeably steeper and looser. A good time though!

Great trail but concur with those who say it's not a blue. Having taken "blue trail" friends down it, they had a great time at the top but had to walk substantial parts of the steeper, dustier lower sections.

Super fun trial. Not a black by any means, but will challenge your average rider. Rebuilt rock roll is on point

This will reopen Spring 2019 completely finished and upgraded! Stoked

I would call this a black diamond, double if you do the rock drop
[Reply]

This is most certainly not a blue trail. It is extremely steep and challenging and it was too dusty to ride.
