Welcome to ReGen trail — a fun, approachable green circle trail designed with the next generation of riders in mind. Pronounced “ree-jhen,” ReGen is short for regeneration, a forestry term describing the process of establishing a new crop of young trees after a forest disturbance such as logging, wildfire, wind, or insect damage. Those young trees are known as regen and will one day form the future forest canopy.
The name reflects more than just forestry. Just as forests rely on new growth, our trail community depends on young riders becoming the next generation of trail enthusiasts. The property is owned by Vaagen Fibre Canada and it was felt fitting to carry a forestry theme throughout the trail network on the property. ReGen perfectly captures that spirit of growth, renewal, and future stewardship. The trail provides a smooth, confidence-building experience for children and newer riders.
The trail can be ridden as a loop accessed off Tamarack trail, or just the bottom section can be accessed from Malde Creek Road and which can also be shuttled.
