Rick's Roost is a double track climb (or descent) linking the top of Alpine Meadows to the Flank trail some 900ft up. The whole trail only has two corners in it which makes it a very long steep slog up or a very fast descent. Halfway up the trail on the left is the trail Catch Scratch Fever which makes for a much more interesting descent.
