Rick's Roost is a double track climb (or descent) linking the top of Alpine Meadows to the Flank trail some 900ft up. The whole trail only has two corners in it which makes it a very long steep slog up or a very fast descent. Halfway up the trail on the left is the trail Catch Scratch Fever which makes for a much more interesting descent.

Access Info

From the very top of Alpine Way continue onto the fireroad, and after 300 yards the trail will be directly infront of you, you'll know you're on the right trail if after 30ft is a sign saying Rick's Roost on your right.
