Part of the State Blue Trail System. Loops up to the top of Box Mountain with a short steep section near the top. Lots of roots and stones on the trail and areas can be quite muddy down on the flats.

Risely Park parking lot on Lake Street. Follow the Blue blazed trail from the parking lot to the loop junction. Straight ahead (clockwise) is the steepest hike to the top of the mountain.
