This trail does not see a ton of traffic. The trail out of Upper Dry Gulch has the tendency to get a bit overgrown. Even on the top, a lot of sage brush makes for some itchy shins. It eventually opens up to a mix of dirt and black lava rock until it becomes a bit of an ATV track back to the main road
