This is a wide gravel path that travels behind the houses and can be used as a connector to the Skyline Trail. It gradually climbs, but has a pretty good climb at the top from either direction, requiring a bit of cardio.
The north side of this gravel path appears to have little trails offshooting, but there is no good way to cross the river and some of the trails are unsanctioned paths or blocked for restoration. Stay on the path, and only turn off on the paved access roads.
