Can anyone provide more info on the "Private Land. DO NOT RIDE WITHOUT PERMISSION!" disclaimer? I can see this section of land doesn't seem to belong to the FC or the National Trust. Is it a farmers' land?

The land is privately owned, but the owner is a mountain biker and happy to have the trail on his land, as long as you don’t drop litter or use the sapling tree stakes for firewood you won’t have any problems. Enter the trail by climbing over the heavy metal gate NOT by clambering over the wire fence. If you really want to get in his good books you can flatten some bracken in high summer. By the way the trail is Skip off work, not skive, the land owners nickname is Skip!

Thanks! Useful information. Is it just the field that that trail is in or is it more than that?

SOW is just in that field, but there are loads of trails in the area to go at.

Thanks, I've put a polygon around it on the map to make it obvious to other users.
