This trail is a fairly mellow, slightly technical singletrack trail. It is directional and thus riding direction changes from clockwise to counterclockwise depending on the day of the week. There are some roots and bridges to negotiate and challenge the rider. Most of the trail is hard packed, but some areas are loose sand and will slow the rider. The trail is locally named a few different things such as "Misery" and "Switch Back" as well as South Loop. It also crosses the park roads in a couple places and merges with a green, multi use trail in one spot. A new rider may have to do a little hunting to stay on track.
Access to the park requires a fee at the park entrance.
