Roughly follows the old line of a trail that went straight down the side of the mountain, hence the name. Steeps today is a flowy descent with a few short steeper sections. Expect bermed switchback corners reminiscent of a dual slalom course, fun bump jumps, and the occasional loose, off camber corner to keep you on your toes. This trail is the logical progression in difficulty after hula girl.
Access off the Swansea Climb Road directly or by continuing down from Booty Call. Note that where Booty Call merges into Steeps there is a trail to the right, this is the old Lower Booty Call, which has been closed.
Gets very dusty and loose in summer.
