Stepdown begins at the hub near the WPA structures with Chimneys. Before the descent begins, Chimneys branches off to the left. Continuing straight leads to the first feature which is an easy intermediate drop. The trail flows across half pipe style terrain into a right hand hipped double.
Riders then cross back through the half pipe terrain meeting a big roller into another jump with a wall ride style landing. Expert riders may try doubling this. Riders land and immediately go left out of the half pipe terrain and pick a line through a very rooty descent into a support berm and slight rise.
From this point, riders have an important choice. Go left and setup for a massive drop or go straight and roll into the landing area. Regardless of which line one takes, there will be plenty of speed to get a little boost over a mild tabletop just past the landing area. There's a flat straight roll out to a left hand turn that leads riders to the intersection with Chimneys where riders can return to the top to ride it again or explore all the other trail options.
