At the trailhead there is an immediate left and right fork. The trail to the left is Arepa Loop - Take the right fork for Te Huinga trail (also called 'Genesis Roadside trail' in reference to the old Genesis trail that used to run through this block). After a short distance the trail forks again - straight ahead is the Mini DH trial, to the right is Te Huinga trail.
The trail is predominantly downhill, with several features which more experienced riders can jump if they choose. There are either easier lines around the features, or the features are designed to be able to roll over at low speed as well as launching them at high speed.
