Te Mounga (The Treasure) is a mix of native tech, fast flowing sections through young pine and narrow single track that weaves its way downhill. One of the best things about this trail is all the different lines choices and ways you can mix it up by linking other trails onto of off of Te Mounga.

This is a must ride trail and a great introduction into Grade 4 riding.

History: Te Mounga Happy Ending was built by Rob Metz in 2024 as an alternative ending, pending the Logging of Te Mounga Part 3.
Te Mounga Part 3 (Hill Road to Ring road) was logged in February 2025.

Starting off Huckleberry Hound into native section sticky when wet, then crossed Hill rd next section out in the open beside corners then drops into the native growth for technical off camber rooty and slippery sections and tight steep corners finishing on Moonshine
