Technical fun ride on mostly volcanic tuff rock. Connects to rest of perimeter that goes around town of Los Alamos. This section is the hardest but most fun for technical riding/climbing/descending.
The trail start has no parking, so park at the base of Quemazon trail and bike here. You quickly drop down into a canyon, then generally have to hike-a-bike a bit before hopping back on the bike.
The trail then climbs forever on rocky, steep and challenging terrain.
If you can climb this, then you're good to climb almost anything else in Los Alamos. You can then connect to Perimeter trail to have a really fun, smooth descent.
