Add on loop to make a more fun route of deadhorse+3 mile. Good elevation with some easy pedaling to end on.

Nice views at the top that make it worth it, but this is a “once a year” is enough kind of trail. Totally blue technically, the beginning off 3 mile smile is a little demanding because it’s steep, but it’s easier than Devil’s staircase or whatever it’s called nearby. Personally I think it’s more fun to just finish 3 mile smile straight through, but this can add a nice little bit of exercise at the end of Dead Horse if you’re up for it or just not ready to go home yet.

Would rate this a solid back trail due to the erosion of the trail and technicality. Comparable to the black trails out around brian head and big bear. I rate black.
