Out and back trail with a steep and sustained climb. You are rewarded with an open and flowy descent punctuated by short technical rocky sections and sharp switch backs. Amazing view of Lake Cachuma the whole way, and ocean views from the top. Shale soil makes this a safe bet to ride after the rain

      Tequepis is running good! Trail has been cleaned by Sage and some moisture still in the top shaded section. Once we get a little rain it will be all time. All creek sections are rideable. Best trail in SB!!

      Right now the trail is actually open but wow there is some serious water erosion at the bottom where you have to navigate through the creek crossing, they aren’t rideable. But yeah the views, the climb and then the sweeeet descent make it all worth it. Nice trail!
