Transcept is an adopted user created trail that advanced riders will enjoy. The 3.1 mile trail is best ridden from north to south starting at the Hiline intersection. If ridden from the south end at Verde Valley school road there will be a lot of sections that will need to be walked by lesser skilled riders. I would currently rate the trail going from north to south as: 15% Beginner, 40% intermediate, 40% advanced and 5% expert. The trail is steep and chunky going south for about 200 yards. Much of the steep section can be ridden by higher skilled riders. In the northerly direction that is a fun downhill section of trail. There are several technical sections even expert riders might walk.
