The trail follows an old road cut connecting the middle of the Sidewinder with Sound of Music. It's commonly used by bikers to link the upper Sidewinder descent with Sound of Music and is mostly a gradual downhill in that direction. It's also a pleasant foot path with nice views of the Rattlesnake Valley and the Bitterroot Mountains.
