Rolling Stone begins off Moonshine road a couple hundred yards downhill from The Park. It provides a more direct transition to Upper Silicate Slide than riding down the road to join Moonshine Rd.

The first 700 ft is hand built trail until it joins up with another old road bed. Turn right on the old road bed and follow downhill. You'll pass two trails on your left that head uphill first Radar Cut then Radar Slide. These trails are unsanctioned and not signed. Shortly after Radar Slide a signpost for Silicate Slide will appear. Turn left at the sign to get to Upper Silicate Slide.
