Apr 6, 2025 @ 7:09pm Apr 6, 2025 | mtb Lots of ice, wet in places, soft snow in others. Needs a few weeks to melt and dry, but will likely take a while to be nice | Variable | view

Aug 27, 2023 @ 11:46am Aug 27, 2023 | mtb Ravine bridge has been reworked on southern part of trail. It's ridable again. Must be some busy trail builders in the area cause almost every trail in the south bear creek had some work done to it. Keep up the good work! | Variable | view
Jul 16, 2023 @ 11:09am Jul 16, 2023 | mtb Trail was pretty soggy after a week of rain. The hill has slid going down into a ravine just before the bridge. (southern part of trail) Hill might need work and bridge isn't doing great either. Water is actually flowing in the ravine atm. Large tree down across alternate route on southern portion of trail. Main trail still avoids it I think. Definitely a workout after the rain. Goes from intermediate to expert when wet. | Variable | view
Jun 26, 2023 @ 12:36pm Jun 26, 2023 | hike Rode the trail Saturday with my unicycle. The bridge crossings are a bit dodgy on the unicycle doable on a mtb. Seems the north side of the river is a bit damper, but no crazy wet areas. | Ideal | view
Jun 15, 2023 @ 6:06pm Jun 15, 2023 | mtb Trail is in good shape a little muddy. But no issues. | Variable | view
Jun 10, 2023 @ 9:39am Jun 10, 2023 | mtb Good condition! Dry and several of the wooden bridges have been replaced! | Dry | view
Apr 14, 2023 @ 9:48pm Apr 14, 2023 | mtb Lots of snow in places, standing water. Recommend not using trail except in mornings when it is still frozen. Needs some time to melt and dry. | Wet | view
Dec 13, 2022 @ 12:20pm Dec 13, 2022 | hike Beautiful trail. From south bear creek parking lot the loop is 9km and took 2.25 hrs walking | Snow Covered | view
Jun 28, 2021 @ 9:11am Jun 28, 2021 | mtb Yellow bridge over Bear Creek is closed for most of today (June 29) for some kind of maintenance. | Ideal | view
May 29, 2021 @ 7:10pm May 29, 2021 | mtb Lots of wet spots. | Wet | view
Sep 23, 2020 @ 5:00pm Sep 23, 2020 | mtb Tree has been moved from a few days ago. | Variable | view
Sep 20, 2020 @ 4:03pm Sep 20, 2020 | mtb Watch for the tree that has fallen right at the end of an uphill bridge section. Couldn't move it cause it was still attached at the base. Needs a saw or axe. | Variable | view
Jul 17, 2020 @ 1:07pm Jul 17, 2020 | mtb Needs a drill and screws lumber on site | Dry | view
Jun 20, 2020 @ 8:50am Jun 20, 2020 | mtb A few muddy sections, but overall dry. BRING BUG SPRAY!! | Dry | view
Jul 28, 2019 @ 9:52pm Jul 28, 2019 | mtb much of the trail on the wedgewood subdivision side is extremely muddy and downed trees. a few places where you need to carry your bike. | Dry | view
Jul 28, 2019 @ 9:52pm Jul 28, 2019 | mtb much of the east side of the loop is muddy. there are also downed trees and broken up areas. a few spots you need to carry your bike. west side is better | Prevalent Mud | view
May 28, 2019 @ 6:45pm May 28, 2019 | mtb | Dry | view
Jan 22, 2019 @ 2:47pm Jan 22, 2019 | mtb Rode the whole loop clockwise, well I did have to walk a couple of hills that weren’t consolidated enough. The east end was a little soft but everything else was very good. | Snow Packed | view
Jun 4, 2018 @ 6:55am Jun 4, 2018 | mtb You can almost do the loop all the way around now. The only part you can't is near the slide due to the flooding. It's getting drier now, but still too wet. So bypass this area by linking up to the road then hook back up with the trail at the pumphouse. | Dry | view
May 21, 2018 @ 9:02am May 21, 2018 | mtb Rode the half of this trail on the north side of the creek (closest to the Wedgewood subdivision). If coming from the west, ride this trail past the golf course's property and to the first opening to the subdivision (just before the warning sign about the slide). You'll see an opening that consists of a small grassy field to your left- go left and connect to the road When you get to the road, go right and follow the road to the driveway to the pumphouse and take a right- you'll see two concrete/brick pillars. Folow that driveway, the hang left and you're back on the trail. We added a couple small bridges in some of the muddy spots. The portion of the trail at the slide has also been fixed up a bit, but the trail can't currently be connected due to the flooding. | Wet | view
May 4, 2018 @ 6:16pm May 4, 2018 | mtb | Wet | view
May 4, 2018 @ 6:09pm May 4, 2018 | mtb Was able to ride about a third of the trail on the east side of the creek today. The water level of the creek is pretty high right now. So, once the trail comes next to the creek, it's all flooded. Not recommended riding right now until the water level of the creek starts to recede. | Unknown | view |
