West Ridge is a nice, long trail that runs from the Birdhouse/Rambo intersection, all the way around to the top of Otero Upper.
Over the years some updates have been made to this trail that lessen its difficulty a bit. At this point I'd call it a hard blue, with a couple sections that border on black. But the vast majority of the trail is of moderate difficulty. The last drop down into Otero Upper has a couple of options, one of which is to head down a rock waterfall that is actually easier than it looks, but it can look pretty scary. Climbing this section can be a real challenge. But there is an easy go-around if you're not feeling it. There are some steeper climbs littered throughout, and most of them have loose rock. Most of the trail is quite rocky, actually, so be prepared to get rattled.
