Trail is great in both directions. Use Wildcat to climb from the bottom of the 7up downhill to the top or southern part of Hidalgo to continue descending down the Horsethief system.

aMTB Black Rating: Advanced obstacles exist, some trail obstructions.
No pinch points narrower than 38". Most the tread and bench cuts have been built to a minimum of 38" wide however some rock ramps may be rougher than others. Spotter required and trail conditions can change with one desert rain event.
Three cattle guards exist in Horsetheif that have 36" wide tread surface. These are on Chisholm, Mustang West, and 7up.
