This non-motorized trail starts in the saddle between Withington Creek and Mulkey Creek on the Withington Creek Road. It crosses the earthen barriers on the road closed to motorized vehicles headed to the northeast. Follow this closed road about .7 mile to the northeast to a switchback. From the switchback proceed northeast and downhill crossing the spring and into the denser trees on the east side of the drainage. Follow the trail contouring around the mountain to the east until you hit the Mulkey Creek Trail in about a third of a mile. The grade on this trail is moderate and is rideable in both directions. This trail is also used by hunters and stockmen. The trail was constructed for the long removed historic power line between Salmon and the Harmony Mine on the east side of Sal Mountain.
