This trail starts out as an old ATV trail, with lots of loose gravel and rocks. Then, it becomes single track with some rock gardens. Once you reach the first bridge, this trail turns into a "hike-a-bike" trail, and isn't recommended for uphill travel.
As a hike this is pretty typical in the area, rocky, but a nice balanced ascent. This trail is designated by USFS as Pack and Saddle, and is a popular hike. It gives you a good taste of what the High Uintas are like but it is pretty close to Kamas. Big pines and high altitude lakes typical of the area with a little creek to follow.
