YIMBY is a two-way, mostly-dirt, flowing trail that has relatively short climbs and descents. It passes small creeks, huge granite erratic boulders, and through Acadian forest that mixes maples and birch hardwoods with spruce, white pine and tamarack trees. An optional, more difficult granite drop line is available midway, and a spur trail (rated blue) leads to a granite outcrop that looks toward the ocean.
Enjoy your rides, runs and hikes!
YIMBY was designed and permitted by MRWA in phase 2 of the trail project. It was built in 2024/2025 by TrailFlow. The trail lies on provincial Crown land.
As of 2025, YIMBY is an out-and-back trail that ends about 200m short of the McIntosh Run river near Neck-and-Gully pond. In the Phase 2 trail plan, a bridge over the river will eventually connect YIMBY to the Pumphouse Road area, and more trails. Stay tuned, and please contact MRWA if you want to assist the trail project!
