ZL is a diverse and varied trail with alot of personality. It can be ridden in either direction due to the well constructed layout but it has it’s divided preferences. The Taylor Way Rd is often used to access the “top” of the western portion (at the buck n rail fence under the powerline), where an amazing machine built flow trail, complete with berms and tabletops/doubles that are sure to stoke the DH rider. The eastern portion from the buck n rail fence (riding east) travels on more traditional singletrack that winds above a private parcel and back down to Galena Gulch Rd and finally Summit Gulch Rd. If you ride the entire stretch west to east (as I often do as part of a much larger loop) keep an uphill eye when climbing the western segment, as gravity riders may not be aware of climbing riders due to limited sight lines and the amazing flow. Another high quality trail in Summit
