The Cleveland Area Mountain Bike Association (CAMBA) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit mountain-bike advocacy and trail stewardship organization serving Northeast Ohio. Founded in 2001, CAMBA works to create, preserve, promote, and enhance diverse, sustainable off-road trail experiences while expanding opportunities for mountain biking throughout the region.

CAMBA works closely with public agencies, municipalities, park districts, and other land managers to develop and maintain mountain-bike trail systems. Its partnerships have included Cleveland Metroparks, the Conservancy for Cuyahoga Valley National Park, the National Park Service, the City of Medina, Montville Township, Camp Tuscazoar, and Geauga Park District. Through these partnerships, CAMBA has helped establish and maintain riding opportunities across a broad portion of Northeast Ohio.

The organization combines trail development and maintenance with mountain-bike advocacy, education, recreational opportunities, and community engagement. Its work encompasses sustainable trail construction, trail preservation, access advocacy, volunteer stewardship, group rides, and efforts to introduce more riders to off-road cycling. CAMBA is also part of the Ohio Mountain Biking Alliance, the statewide coalition that brings together major Ohio mountain-bike organizations to share resources, promote best practices, and advocate collectively for trails and mountain biking.

CAMBA's trail-building and stewardship efforts have helped make Northeast Ohio one of the more diverse mountain-bike regions in the Midwest, with riding ranging from technical wooded singletrack and rolling cross-country trails to purpose-built skills and progression facilities. The association's work is particularly significant around the Cleveland Metroparks system and the broader Cuyahoga Valley region, where mountain biking is integrated into a larger network of recreational trails and protected natural areas.

For Trailforks users, CAMBA serves as an important connection between riders, trail builders, volunteers, and land managers, helping ensure that mountain-bike trails remain sustainable, accessible, and enjoyable while supporting the continued development of Northeast Ohio's off-road riding network.
